Old Ted. An esteemed member of this forum. Could be worse.
Ah, ok. Need a pic though to see the resemblance.
There you go.
Ok, a noble gentleman I can tell. Glad to be associated with Ted.
Cold, freezing rain, snow, Cob Snob, Tinderbox Aro, Waste Management recycling bin, iPad and PSF. Best part of the day so far.
A valued member.
I wish I knew! It's my first pipe, which I chose blindly based solely on the bent shape. It has "Made in Italy" stamped on it, that's it. I payed 35 bucks for it (new). It smokes fairly well.
How LNG ago?
I got it about 4 years ago.
I like the rustication.
Honestly I'm not a huge fan, it was just the only bent pipe I could afford, but it's definitely unique. I've tried and tried to find out anything about it's origin, but I don't really have any info to go on.
Yeah those unmarked pipes are hard to run down. It may be a Roma (not the Sav) an inexpensive store pipe that sometimes hide good smokers. I have a bent Dublin Christmas pipe (I wish pipe shops would go back to doing that) that I think is a Roma that I really like.
I don't know who any of you people are. That's ok though.
It was 16˚F here when I took this, with a wind chill of 4˚F. That's very unusual in Alabama, even if it isn't really all that cold. Makes me a bit wistful and nostalgic for my beloved northern New England. Serious face:
Speaking of Roma's (Jwb up above me there), I am smoking one in this pic. It is an absolutely fantastic smoker. Best $65 pipe ever.
Having a puff on a sweet little Bulldog full of Blatter Navigator.
This Bulldog was one of 4 pipes I traded with the very generous Holymolar!
Yeah, the father in law got remarried on Tuesday.
Me and mr Huybrecht enjoying a bowl in Cadiz. As I recall we enjoyed some spanish brandy as well.
