Hi there - I can't believe it has taken me this long to realise but there will be a pipe smoker at this year's Olympic games. My friend Richard Kruse has been selected to represent Great Britain at fencing. Whilst by no means a serious pipe smoker, he does have a very occasional bowl.

Cool! I'll be cheering for him them, a brother of the briar.

BTW He can still be a serious pipe smoker if he doesn't crack jokes while smoking :)

Nice! Good lad. The ultimate head game would to be puffing while fencing.;)

I used to work for a fencing company, (chain link to be exact). I never realized that I could make it to the Olympics doing so.

Rew that's the wrong kind of fencing. I think they are talking about selling things that fell out of the back of a truck.

    Fencing.... chain link, or wood???

Actually I did some fencing myself when I hung around with the SCA.
I liked fighting case (2 weapon).
I used an epee and a rubber chicken for parrying.:xd:
Funny but everyone wanted to hit that rubber chicken and opened themselves up for a hit every time.
