Below is a picture documenting my 8 1/2 hour smoking marathon.

Pipe: Le Rewstier``De Seeexte` Seeex Deluxe Giant Briar - Hand carved with Lucite stem
Tobacco: Rewster's Gut Checker Blend (consisting of equal parts = Tambolaka, Ten Russians, Five Brothers, Borkum Riff, and a smidgen of Paladin
    Hat: Country Gentleman

Started with the char light then lightly tamped it then another match and it was off to the races.

Cool, yes. But it looks like it might be just a little bit hard to clench this one.

That is only partially true. My lastest psychiatric evaluation found that although I do have dissociative identity disorder (multiple personalities), 1 of my 9 seperate personalties is perfectly normal. The other 8 however suffer from Major Intermittent Explosive Post Traumatic Stress Disorder which is twice multiplied by their Spontaneous Trichotillomania triggered by Hyperdelusional Anorexic Bulemia Nervosa fringing on Schizophrenic Obsessive Compulsive Psycotic Tendencies and Sporadic Episodal Substance Dependancy coupled with Cyclothymic Narcissistic Rage.

In other words if I don't get my baccy when I want it I get a little upset is all.:csmile:

    With love to all; Ray

Was there just nicotine in your pipe? Are you sure you didn´t make Guinnes record? Too many questions I know, but there are seven left to your other personalities.

I know something about psychiatry and I must tell a secret: Rewsters shrink became nuts after one meeting. Poor psychiatric has layed in a bed couple months yelling: "Time is up, time is up". Science is forceless with this horrible man :)

But, seriously. I raise my hat to you. I hope you are ok.

Hope you pay enough... But now I take my largest bowl and fill it with 100% latakia just to celebrate your record. It is over midnight here. Good night man!

Maybe someday I can loan you my pipe and you can try it out with 100% Perique. That would either be Good Night or Good Bye!:poke:

    Dimensions are as follows:
    7 - 5/8 inside diameter
    9 - 1/8 outside diameter
    7 - 1/16 depth
It is briar, my nephew found it in Germany of all places while he was in the military. He bought it from a man that had already carved the initial shape. My nephew and I carved and sanded on it to make a novelty out of it. The wood had countless imperfections including a big crack in it approximately 1 - 3/4 long. It sure is cool though because nobody else has one.
