Mark Tinsky has some PSF POYs on his site, those are for this PSF right? Or is there some "other" PSF? Not that it matters a whole bunch but if it is indeed for this PSF, that's soooooh cool.

Anyone know of any pipesmiths who make forum POYs?

    :P

I two forum POY's, Eddo - one by Mark Tinsky and another by Kurt Huhn. Offer pipemakers an order for 50 one-design pipes, cash in advance, and I guess most would take it.

I saw those PSF pipes myself and was wondering about it. And what's POY?

I was wondering the same thing. If so, I'm going to have to use that as an excuse to order another pipe from Mr. Tinsky.

Oh phuk! When Schultzie starts saying "I know nothing........nothing...."
Hogan must be up to something. I certainly do hope that THIS is the PSF the pipes are made for, but regardless, it's a pipe smokers forum design Mark is making and the "squashy tomato" has all the right aesthetics to make me jump. Jumped twice and was just cruisin' their site again to see if there was anything I'd missed on the first go around.

I know forums can be a very tough place to come up with a specific design, of anything, to be made and sold to represent that particular forum. I've been on guitar forums and encountered way too much bickering, like a bunch o'ladies trying to decide which tea to put in the pot!

In a way I'd love to find out that it IS indeed this PSF but if it's not, it certainly won't take anything away from the pipe(s) nor would I be upset in the least. Even if Mark called them "Dung-wood Yak pipes", I'd still have bought both (I think) ;) and pressed-on!

I guess I'll have to ask Mark if I really want to know since youze guyz aren't saying a word............... :ass: :D

No... really, I know nothing. This is the first I've heard or seen of them. But I must admit to it being my favorite shape. :velho:

Y'know, if any of the moderators here had a heart, they would ban me from this site, saving me from the vicious throes of PAD.

I will not look at the Tinsky pipe...

I will not look at the Tinsky pipe...

I will not look at the Tinsky pipe...

    Not working...Dammit!

(....Didn't Deckard suggest me selling a piece of my liver? Hmm...might be worth lookin' in to.)

Unfortunately those pipes are not associated with this site. Shortly, about 2 weeks, after this site went live another site with a similar name popped up. If anybody is interested in a REAL PSF POY, I suggest commissioning Sasquatch as the pipe maker.

Not a bad idea, Woody! (Except for naming Sasquatch...) :velho:

Just kidding. Actually, it would just feel 'right', having him do it.

Nothing against Tinsky, but Sasquatch is a part of the PSF family and I believe he is the logical choice to create a PSF POY.

Ok Sas, the pressure is "on". You up to such a monumental moment? Would you? For here? I'm in! Make one you wish to represent PSF (this one) and I'll buy it.......don't make it look like a dildo either! I can see it now, "look here, here's Puff's pipe, notice how the bowl looks like the head of a penis.........." Please don't do that to me or make the bowl sandblasted to look like a scrotum. Like I said, I'll buy it. PM me if you wish, but I don't mind keeping it right here, no difference here. I'll even pay a deposit to get it going, lmk.

    Thanks Woody for the scoop!

I was thinking about that just last night, and came to this thread today to post what you seem to have already posted. Maybe we can talk the Canadian into doing a POY? I know I'd be all in for one (maybe two).

Unless you start selling organs to fund it.
