    I agree. You like it.

I like it too. It's what I smoked when I started smoking a pipe.

I "burley-up" with PA mixed with Five Brothers to stabilize my blood nicotine levels every morning.

PA is good stuff and certainly stood the test of time. I wouldn't call it the best blend out there, still it's probably some where between 40-50% of the bowls I smoke, it's good and just so dam easy.

So I picked up a pouch of this two months or so ago to help break in a new pipe and was less than impressed. For whatever reason, I decided to give it another try a few weeks ago. WOW is all I have to say. I don't know why my first impression was so bad. I've been smoking PA non stop since. The rest of my cellar is getting jealous. Oh well.

*edit- Whoops, I was thinking of CH. Disregard the previous statements.

I'm going to have to try it.
Anyone else use it as a condiment tobacco like Rockbass mentioned?

I don't taste burnt leather, nuts, caramel, grammas undie drawyer, apple pie or scotch whiskey.
The only thing I taste is good old fashioned burley with no bs or any other such flavors.
Like my daddy said simple is good.

PA was the brand my beloved Uncle smoked exclusively... Now that I'm a real pipe smoker, I know why. Good, simple, satisfying stuff that never seems to disappoint.

Can you get it shipped to Canada from online tobacco shops?

I believe so, I just meant that if it was a common OTC brand here like Sail or Captain Black I probably would've tried it a long time ago. For some reason PA and Carter Hall seem non existent here. Which is a shame as they are the better OTC brands in my opinion.

I picked up some PA when I 1st got back into smoking a pipe a couple of months ago, mainly because I noticed it in the local Navy Exchange and it was inexpensive.

Is now my primary, everyday favorite!

Just picked up two pouches today. I'm in no way an experienced pipe smoker but I thought this had a great earthy taste. That's the only way I can describe it. I think for the time being I'll be sticking with Prince Albert as my daily smoke.

Do you have Prince Albert in a Can? Sorry for that but as kids we must have called Walgreens 100s of times. Har Har. I am going to have to pick some up...... Walgreens had a huge tobacco section with tons of tobacco and pipes.
