I've hinted at getting some of my Dad's pipes the last time that I went up to visit with him. Most of them needed some refurb TLC and since I do not have the tools here I sent them off to Mike Myers at Walker Briar Works pipe repair.

Mike took over the repair and refurb work a little bit ago and I have had a few dealings with him before this and I HIGHLY recommend him. No affiliation or kick-backs.........I just think he does a great job.

Before my Dad gave these to me I had just a few English pipes, now I have a bunch. I only had 3 Prince shapes, now I have 6.

I sent over 5 of my Dad's pipes to Mike and just got them back earlier this week. The before and after pics are below. I have another batch that I will be sending him sometime soon.

Very nice. I love to see a good collection of pipes, especially if they have a great back story to them. Enjoy your dad's "old" pipes.

Yes.....he did an awesome job. Kept me in the loop all along the way and it was a fair price.
