Anyone heard of this guy or smoked any of his pipes? I was looking at some on Ebay and I like the look of some of them, but I don't know how they smoke.

This is the one in particular I am considering.

I don't know anything about that brand, but I do have two pipes with wider stems like that one has, which I find comfortable to smoke.

For what it's worth, the eBay reviews seem to be good. I've bid on a couple, but haven't won so far...

Can't speak to Mr. Filar, but I have purchased pipes from that particular vendor, from another Polish maker. Further, I currently own two more pipes from an altogether different Polish maker, and I'm pleased with them all.

    I say go for it!

Are you talking about Mr. Polinski? I want one of his pipes bad.

I have no experience with them but they look pretty good to me. If you don't like how the drilling looks they have a money back return policy.

Yes, T. Polinski. I have an huge dublin of his. The draft hole is pretty off center, but so far it doesn't affect the smokeability of the pipe. He makes pretty nice stuff. As does Henryk Worobeic. I have two of his pipes and both are spectacular!

That is disheartening to hear. I have been wanting a Polinski for a while now. I hate to hear the draft hole is not drilled correctly. That makes me leery of ordering one now.

I have a pipe from Henryk Worobeic, It is a snazzy looking pipe but the stem is a softer plastic material like a cob pipe which turns me off about the pipe. I never smoke it because of it.

I think that looks pretty darn neat! And I have a few wide, thin stems that I really enjoy smoking, too.
