    All,
Just stumbled upon this online in pouches; Green, Yellow, and Natural.
I have not seen it here OTC.
What is the take on these?
I haven't read much here on any of them.
I think the Green may even be English.
TR gives that an overall 3 star rating and the others a 2 star rating.
    Thanks in advance.

I'm pretty sure Ruffinogold likes the green or something, but I've never tried them myself

I've tried the yellow one, a "mild Cavendish". It was smokable, didn't leave me retching or regretting the purchase, I bought it early on at a shop that had nothing but the three kinds of Sail. Smoked it all but do not plan to buy it again, ever.

I tried the green label about 30 years ago. If I remember correctly, it was a bit like Carter Hall except it was slightly milder. It was also similar to Borkum Riff before BR changed its recipe to cheaper leaf. I've been the brunt of some lame attempts at humor for saying it but BR used to be good stuff.

Now there's a advertising slogan for you: "It didn't leave me retching!"

    :haha:

I like the Sail Yellow, a mild Va cavendish. It's a blend in the tradition of Mac Baren Virginia #1 or OGS, but less sharp (and less tasty -- which can be a good thing if you smoke all day long.) I have a jar of it on hand, but I don't go to it all that often. I guess that's because there's nothing in it that really "calls" to me. Troost Special Cavendish is a Va in the same vein, but cased a little differently; and Stokkebye's Luxury Twist Flake can be squeezed into the same genre, but now we're approaching the tastier side of things again.

I've only smoked the yellow and it was a mild, pleasant, typically Danish aromatic. One 7 0z tub (if I remember the size correctly) lasted me a looooong time and I might even have ended up blending some of it with stouter fare in order to use it up. It was a few years ago. Nice, though, if you're looking for a lightly flavored, dry smoking, mild aromatic.

I've had the green, but it was mediocre at best
because I can't remember how it was. :laff:
