I have found this to be one of the most incredible blends that I have ever had so I was wondering if anybody else here has ever tried it. The first tin that I ever had I believe came from CigarSarge if I'm not mistaken, I later found 5 tins of it through a friend in Ohio but have been unable to find anymore.
Anybody else have it, have had it, or know where I can find more? :)

Only a couple of reviews on TR-

Wow, I've never heard of it, but it sounds great. Of course, it would be a blend no longer in production. I'm guessing eBay and Pipestud may be the only sources for it now.

I have contacted Pipestud and he says he would absolutely love to have some for himself but cannot find any either, and as far as Ebay, I have been looking for a couple of years and not even a sniff.

I have one tin left and I have a dilemma, conundrum, problem, do I open it or wait longer?

I'd say save it for a special occasion, like a birthday, etc. Of course, to avoid cracking it open before said special occasion, you should send it to me for safe keeping. I'll make sure you don't open it too soon. ;)

    Really! :beck:

OK, I may have had ulterior motives.

    Uh... never mind.

I just sent SG in UK an email asking (begging) them to begin producing it again. I hope I'll have positive news soon.

Don't hold your breath, it was only a very limited run made in 2007. The last I heard from them they had no future plans of making anymore and said it was a one time thing. :(

There is something about a tobacco called "Dixie Pride", that comes from England, that is just kind of sad. Like me getting my grits shipped from NYC.

When Royal Cigar closed out Dixie Pride a few years ago, I bought a few tins based solely on the fact that it was more or less a straight VA produced by Samuel Gawith plus I like pipe tobaccos with rum. Glad I took a chance - fabulous stuff. A fine ribbon cut that burns a bit fast, but deeply flavorful and perfect in a smaller pipe. I have no doubt that if Gawith brought it back as regular production it would sell like hotcakes.
