    Greetings all,

My partner finally has succumbed to us occasiosonally smoking a pipe in the house. Lounging on the couch as gone to a whole new level.

She wants a longer smoke w/ me now, and we were considering the Grabow Big Pipe so we can truly relax for around an hour or so.

Before I purchase, I'm wondering if there are any affordable alternative brands to the Grabow that have equally large bowls?

    Suggestions or links appreciated.

I have one of those Mr. Brog Lumberjacks and can tell you that it certainly is a full movie smoker. You must be ready to sit down and enjoy it though as it is far too big to move about and smoke while you work or fart around. It smokes good as well and never gets hot. I found that I could not light it with a zippo, not even with a pipe insert as the bowl is very deep. For ease of lighting you need a Bic or a long match. I got the Lumberjack and a XL Giant for Father's Day and enjoy them in my collection. They are a great conversation piece as well.

Warning: Mr. Brog is not a pipe, it's a portable fire pit. I've seen pics. Lol...

It is indeed. You don't realize how big the bowl is until you start loading it. Oh my! :startl:

Yeah, check out the 320. Not pictured in that link. I've gotten and hour and 45 minutes of sweet Virginia goodness out of that one. Trevi and Sistina as well
