I am not telling! lol JK!

    Iwan Ries

It's weird how they have some, but not others.
Payless has some, but not others,
    Etc, etc.

I ordered some BBF (which I love),
    FireDance (which I love), and
St. James Flake (which I never had!)

Almost pulled the trigger on Brown #4.
Sounds super strong. I love strong though.
I had to hold back (for now) due to $$$ and a couple other recent orders. <sigh>
Is Brown #4 any good? Have not heard many here mention it.
I have had Black XX Rope which is strong and is decent.
How do the 2 compare? What is the difference? What do people here like better?
Should I go back and get it?
    <Fighting the urge.grrrrr>

It's also in stock at Park-Lane. I picked up four tins a couple weeks ago, and they're still showing most blends in stock, including SL.

Brown #4 is good stuff IMO, though I admit I've only had a couple or three bowls. Haven't tried the Black XX, though I hear that the Brown is stronger.

I enjoy Black XX enough to have cellared up on it the last time SG came in. Strong and smooth, like smoked brisket and a dark ale. :bing:

FVF Pipes&Cigars???? ahhhhhh It would have to come in this week. This has got to be the worst week for it to be in stock. Maybe it will still be there next week?

    LOL.

Actually, I'm not trying to be a goof. I've read in various places that the supply of SG tobaccos is going to be more regular and consistent in the coming months. Unfortunately, regular supply won't necessarily mean that it will be any easier to obtain. The only way that's going to start happening is if the guys who already have 20 lbs of the stuff in the cellar agree to step back a little. ;)

Just ordered a (singular) tin of FVF, 2oz of Squadron Leader bulk, and a couple non- SG oriental/va bulks (mmmmm PS English Oriental Supreme :) )
Is FVF going to be a good Lakeland intro?

I don't think you'll find many who think that FVF has anything at all to do with what people generally mean by the term "Lakeland," even though it comes from that area. FVF is a rich, matured Virginia with quite a bit of sweetness and familiar VA grass and caramel flavors. If you want to try an archetypal Lakeland, you should dip into a tin of Ennerdale Flake from G&H. It has the mix of high quality tobacco and floral aromas that most people are referring to by the term "Lakeland."

I am 99.9% sure that FVF is not a Lakeland or even close. No perfume\soap in this baby!
