Out tobacco shopping at one of my B&Ms today, bought one or two SG plugs and flakes - then spotted the jubilee tins on the shelf, I was tempted - but resisted, this time. I wonder if anyone has any yet (or ordered any)? - and if so, will you open them or save as a possible 'investment'?.

I've got one. It'll be open by next Friday, possibly sooner.

Toby's for smoking, not for speculating on. :puffy:

Will let you know my initial impressions when I crack this tin. The tin art leaves a lot to be desired if it's supposed to be collectable, though.

well, as far as I know - there is nothing different about the contents of the tins, and in my opinion Samuel Gawith produces the best tobacco around!, so......:th1:

I've been if'n and but'n with myself over these tins since I saw them on the My Smoking and Smoke King sites last week and I still cant decide. I think I'll wait a little and see what Spam makes of it, I can't see SG turning out any poor quality baccy but I have other priorities at the moment. By the way Ted, My Smoking will have a supply of Germains Rich Dark Flake coming in, should be some time next week, but I know you said you're on a plug binge right now.

thanks for the heads up, but the only tobacco that I mail order - comes from America, anything else is fortunately an OTC for me (including Germains RDF)
