So I was wondering if anyone has tried this.
Yep, I've had a shandy two different ways. Once with gingerale and the other with cider. They were eh - ok.
I'd rather stick with a Guinness
I quite like a lager shandy every now and again, particularly when the weather's fine. But it's usually just lager with a lemonade 'top', rather than a half and half mixture. Very refreshing
We call a mixture of beer and cider "Snakebite". It's fighting juice! (Although, cider in England is alcoholic, I gather it's more like apple juice your side of the pond?)
Edit: I've just realised we're in the Pipe Tobacco section! Guess you can ignore this, then.
I do believe DB is referring to this: http://www.tobaccoreviews.com/blend_detail.cfm?ALPHA=5&TID=321
Yes I was rewster hence being in the tobacco forum. However, thanks for the input nonetheless.
Patience, dbw. Those Brits have such a hard time with English.
I don't know what's wrong with Irish Rover. Too much to drink, already?
To get the thread back on track, you have my interest peaked about the tobacco with an interesting name.
You can see what I thought of it at tr.com. Mine was the most recent review. One star - not worth a repeat performance.
But that's just my opinion, of course.
Loved the review.
It reminded me of eating raw mushrooms. There is a texture but no flavor. Sad.
I really appreciate honesty in opinions; I loved it! I feel some of those reviews are a little subdued at times.
Ahh yes it is a tobacco forum,.... however we have had threads regarding scotch, poo coffee, favorite coffees, etc, etc.
It's just I saw shandy - and thought liquor immediately.
Yep, one shandy after another
So I got 2oz of this in the mail today and I have to say I REALLY like it a lot. Just thought I would share. Thanks for the input.
