In June, I bought several 8 oz. tins of Anniversary Kake with the idea of cellaring them for a minimum of a year. But I'm getting the itch to open one now because I'm craving to smoke it. I have a number of other tins open and could put this off by opening some other aged stuff, but I feel my resolve weakening. Who else has this dilemma? Do you cave in or wait?

How many Anniversay Kake's you got aging? If you have more than one then pop the top.

if youre really concerned, pop the top on one and replace it. by the time you finish the one you opened, the replacement will have the same age on it.

Pop that sucker open. Enjoy it now. If something happens to you before next year, someone's just going to toss that tin out with your other stuff nobody wants.

You should smoke one now. That way you'll be better able to determine the benefits of aging the tobacco.

Smoke one tin fresh, one at a year old, one at two, one at maybe 4 or 5. As you smoke one buy a new one and age it.

Goat, I have six 8 oz. tins. I always try to cellar stuff. I have about 270 tins of various stuff ageing now. But you folks are weakening my resolve to hold off on the Anniversary Kake. I feel my grip sliding....

Hhhmmm... if there's no tomorrow, does this mean I can go rob banks, steal lollipops from kids, and tell bad puns?

In the meantime, I'm caving in. You guys hear the sound of a tin popping open, you'll know where it came from!

    Ya bunch of enablers!!! :)

A man does what man´s got to do. When you have unopened bottle on table and you start to think "should I or should I not" you have lost already, without those exeptions Sigmund Freud calls masochists.

And now I´m going to open an old tin of Haddock just to celebrate Jiminks birthday whenever it is.
