Storing Aromatics

    Hello Forum,
    Do Aromatics loose some of there taste when storing in Mason jars for two yrs plus.

    In my opinion, generally they do but it takes many years.

    What's worse is when the flavor is gone and the "goopy" still remains. :roflmao:
    I've had some brands of "Vanilla" that (almost) taste like tobacco after a few years and still steam up a bowl. The "cookies-baking" smell and flavor was gone, but, the PG remained.
    Higher grade aromatics are probably different. I don't know about them.

    I have a couple Danish aros (no goop) in the tin that
    are a little better than first purchased ( a decade ago). They're on
    the high end, though. I haven't cellared any in jars.
