You want bent hooked or straight ? I have 3 now , 1 straight kaywoodie , 1 slight bent savinelli (factory 2nd) and a Peterson B10 christmas pipe ..The Pete hangs like it was made for me , no thinking about it , the Savinelli hangs but its at an awkward angle its a nice "smoke and hold" pipe . The B10 , smoked my first one in it today .. smiling and shivering the whole way . I love the curved pipes .

I will most likely go with either a straight or slight bent pipe, don't want to much of a hook on it.

If you're going to go with an estate pipe, the recommendations here are spot on.

    Radice
    Upshall
    Ser Jacopo
    Higher Grade Sav - Autograph
    Tinsky
    Boswell

    For new pipes -

I would look at some of the pipemakers here (as suggested...).
    Sav 320
Pete Aran Series (I have a 999, and it's wonderful!)

I suggest going against the standards of today. Get something unusual, like a briar-lined meer, or a Falcon with a Brylon bowl!

You can get a wide variety of quality Peterson's for around $100.oo. I'd check them out.

My opinion is that depending exactly what you are looking for--well there are some great factory pipes--however I guess I am a bit opinionated but--save your money---S. Todd Bannard--Briar Sweat & Tears--BST pipes. The man makes pipes from start to finish and button to bowl that are super fine pipes. Also here at PSF--we have quite a few guys making super nice pipes too--DGE, Basil Meadows, Big Casino and quite a few more. I own and have owned many pipes some very expensive and can say--my go to pipes are ALWAYS my BST's.

I have a BST as well, and Todd does amazing work! There are lots of artisans here that would be well worth the money... Take a look in the "For sale" section.
