I recently bought another meerschaum pipe. It's big. It's almost a beast. The thing, originally from Hayim Pinhas in Turkey, measures in at 21" long with a bowl just over 3" tall. The bowl is carved in the figure of D'Artagnan from the Three Musketeers. It's unsmoked right now, but I plan on trying it out this weekend.

I'll go ahead and beat you all to the punch with jokes about over-compensation. It's a fair cop.

    Nice!!!!! :thumbsu:

3 inches in height is just big enough. Big Pipes Rule!!!! And when they're made of meerschaum, they rule even more.

(fighting back that evil beast Envy) really nice acquisition, T!

Wow. And I thought the giant meer-demon called me out with the Yanik Cabbage Pipe...

Gourzie... dag. That is the cat-daddy of hard-to-explain-to-the-wife pipes. Can you clean it with some soap and beeswax and a powerwasher? Dag.

Wow surprised you didn't need an arm extension to hold that. Beautiful piece, hope you get a lifetime of pleasure from it.

Woooooaaaaah Nelly! Now thats art !! I couldn't smoke it myself. Thats like rolling up the Mona Lisa and snorting cocaine through it. I don't wanna know what you paid for it either. For what I can imagine you paid for I would say you'd better be able make music with it and smoke it! :w00t:

John Klemmer would crap his pants to be able to play it just once  .

Nice looking meer TS! I'll bet they had to use an articulated wheel loader to get that meerschaum block out of the quarry and you'll probably need a propane torch to get it lit.
