I recently bought a pouch of SWR and am finding it difficult to get lit and stay lit. It didn't seem moist and infant I thought it was dryish. Do you regular SWR guys have to air it out a bit before smoking? I may just be used to scooping up CH right out of the pouch and smoking with ease.

The new cut sucks to light but once you get it going,it's not bad.I still prefer the old cut better.

I just scoop and light, and never had a problem keeping it lit. The cut is a little different than CH, so it might just be that it takes a slight change in lighting and smoking cadence. I just scoop from the pouch, gently tamp with a pipe nail, then light.

Started a pouch a week or two ago, scoop and light, no problems, but mine seemed more moist than others have been talking about, but certainly no problem burning it

I will keep at it. I like it and want to put in the regular rotation.

I got my first pouch of SWR yesterday. So far I've had no problem keeping it lit. It is a real winner.

Third bowl seems to be a charm! Once she got going it was good to go.

Scoop, lightly pack and light. No problem so far with it.
