    Hello Mark,
It is a very good smoker, long lasting, and fits well in grip, I was out in my boat, and didn't worry that I would drop it. It smokes right down to the last of the bowl, and really was "sweeter" (on average) than I've had with my Briars, not that I'll be giving up any of them soon though. A nice smoker all around.

Glad you enjoyed it! I've never been brave enough to take any of my meers out like that. I've always been afraid I'd mess them up.

Same here...I usually only use my cobs when I am outdoors.

I look at it as "I bought it to use it" and overall the cost wasn't that much ($47) and it's just plain cool to use. Perhaps I will regret it when I break it, or drop it in the marsh, but I'd regret thinking about having a nice smoke while it was home in the cabinet too. I have the website listed on my favorites where I purchased it, in the event of any trajedy I'm sure they'll have more.

$47, that's not bed for a meer. I guess I'm just old school with meers, I don't handle them by anything but the stem when smoking them, and won't lay it on anything that might mar the wax until it's cool. I glad you're enjoying your's, and do what makes you happy with it.:)

    Unlike Falcons, meers float!

Congrats on your new White Mistress!
