G.H. & Co. LTD "Top Black Cherry"! Wonderful smoke. Cool. Lottsa Cherry flavor. Lottsa leaf (cavendish, maybe burley & va?) flavor too. Lights easy, burns clean, and smokes dry. It's available too!

I'm not a big cherry blend smoker--a bowl every few months or so. So I haven't tried all that many of 'em. But of what I've tried, my vote goes to Hobbit's Weed from Tewkesbury and Co. in Denver. A very pleasant store blend that has plenty of local fans, as well as some not so local.

My go-to cherry fix is Samuel Gawith's Celtic Talisman. Tastes like real tobacco and leaves behind a great, long-lasting room note.

Do you smoke it straight from the tin or do you let it dry first?

The first time I smoked Rattray's Terry Red (cherry, rum & ginger) I found it goopy and syrupy tasting. I let it sit for a year and tried it again and it was better, but just ok. Now it is 2 years old, just a little springy, but fairly dry and its a very decent smoke! The cherry flavor is actually stronger now, no goop, and can taste tobacco too.

Straight from the tin works fine for me.

4 noggins Lord Methley's. This is for me one of the only aromatic blends that holds it's flavor from beginning to end. Love the stuff. God Bless!!! Ray
