Apologies. I was thinking of Frog Morton on the Town. I haven't actually tried the Bayou blend.

This actually my personal favorite out of the FM line, with OTT a close second.

It's one of my regulars and my favorite thus far. I'm trying OTT next.

I tried FMOTT first and really loved it. Regular Frog Morton tasted good, too. I wasn't as crazy about OTB, but, I'm not that familiar with perique blends and that may grow on me later. The only one I haven't tried yet is Across the Pond.
I don't see how you could go wrong with any of them. I haven't found a bad one yet.
    Good luck.

I too am a fan of all the Frogs. The one that stands a bit apart is Across the Pond, probably due to its use of Syrian rather than Cyprian Latakia. To some extent, I think of Across the Bayou as regulation Frog plus Perique.

I like all the Frogs. It's a very distinctive flavor that I can't put my finger on. There seems to be something slightly salty and slightly sweet that's balancing the Latakia. FM reminds me of one of my favorite single malts, Springbank.

Well Maddis that's a recomendation I can relate to - Springbank; looks like I'll be adding this Frog to the "Wanter List!"

Gerry, tobaccos often remind me of different single malts. Could all be an illusion, but it's a tasty one! I'm smoking Mississippi Mud right now and I'm getting Lagavulin all the way....

I got some On The Town in last night. I'd say I like this stuff as much as On The Bayou and better than regular Frog Morton.
