Bird's eye as far as you can see, killer silver mounting... looks amazing.

I love the silver hardware on that pipe. It looks even better on their "ebony" pipes.

It really does. I love the contrast of the ebony finish with the sterling band. Even a nickel band looks great, and that's actually what drew me to the Fermoy that I bought.

    Sadly it's not. Can't afford it :(

@dp : A fishtail would have made it perfect. Although, I've never tried a P-lip, so I can't really say for sure. The way I clench is more of a "put it in your teeth and let it hang against your top teeth" type method, if that makes sense.

It is very pretty. And I'm a fan of the p-lip. I just like the way it feels when I clench on one. I hope this pipe goes to a very deserving home, because it's a shame if its just sitting there on a shelf not being smoked.

I couldn't resist, everyone was saying what a looker she was. I haven't even smoked yet, I was too busy taking pictures. :)

Seriously though, my wife and I have had a long year. I just wanted one thing for Christmas: a nice pipe. This pipe is going to be well taken care of and truly appreciated.

Thats a great looking pipe no doubt! It's a little fancy for my tastes personally, but gorgeous nonetheless!

    Hi All,

It's a gorgeous example of fine Irish Siverwork and a grain that on the photo looks almost tactile - a truly lovely pipe. That'd come in around £150.00 here so it's an excellent price your side of the pond.

The P -lip on the deluxe Petersons ia cut much finer than on the buget models and the stems are very highly finished and polished - they are actually a pleasure to use and have actually converted me against my will.

That's done evrybody's TAD a power of good!

    Best to all

    Gerry
