The London Pride had some gorgeous grain work, just love some good birds eyes in a pipe.

    +1

The Prince is extremely nice but I love the bird's eye on the London Pride.

I just love Comoy's in general..
I bought a "tiger eye" which is deffinitly my fav. pipe, kinda heavy to hold in the teeth alone, but beautiful pipe, birdseye across the top of the bowl - and straightgrain all over the pipe going towards the bottem.
Its not as nice as the Ribands and London Pride by no means, as far as asthetics go, but great smoking pipes. I want another one now ;)

    Hi,

They're both exceptionally nice pipes, but for me the Prince shape has the edge - as you say if the maker gets the proportions just so, it makes a really handsome creation.

    Thanks for sharing
