If I were to hop on a plane and fly somewhere that had tobacco not readily available in the U.S., what would would be the limit I could bring back?

I couldn't find anything on pipe tobacco or loose tobacco. The U.S. Customs site said 1,000 cigarettes or 100 cigars or "any reasonable amount of tobacco". Has anyone tried to bring back bulk tobacco?

Would 4 lbs of tobacco be considered reasonable to a non-TAD infected person?

If customs opens your bag and sees 4 pounds of tobacco you might get to find out what a cavity search is like. LOL
