I'm new to Perique, about halfway through my first tin of Escudo. I chose that first because its the main one everyone talks about, and while at first it was a little strong, it does get better after a few days once you get used to it.

Sorry to ressurect such a old post but now after my departure and return I can finally take everyone's advice. I ordered a 50g tin of Rattray's Red Rapparee oriental, McClelland's British Woods, and AC Peterson's Escudo. I also ordered about five cobs and a mini meer. After all this time all I have had is that Savinelli English mixture and some carter hall and otc aromatics. The English mixture still smokes okay after being stuck in the tin for what, eight or nine months, The carter hall in the pouch is well as fresh as ever. Heh, I alsoo hit up granny for about eight mason jars today so I'm in business now.

    I have but one question????????

    Where's that mail carrier at?
