    Hello Forum,
How many tins do you have open at any one time on your tobacco rotation.

I've got the blends I buy in bulk in jars so they're allways open . The stuff I buy OTC I open and use in a reasonable amount of time . If I've got extra OTC then I dont open them till the other is gone . I've got 5 jars and 4 open other stuff and a bunch of stuff in waiting [ unopend]. Looking forward to popping a new 7 oz Buttered rum i got the other day .I'll be bagging some Edgeworth so everything else just seems like " whatever " right now ..lol . I've had dreams of smoking Three Nuns & Edgeworth again ... crazy huh

I have about 16 opened tins/bulks that are in my rotation, and I think even that is too many. It's just incentive to smoke more and reduce those numbers instead of cellaring

I've got 5 tins, one bulk tub and a fancy glass jar on the coffee table of kitchen blend open right now as well as a couple more blends in small mason jars in the "cellar" that I enjoy from time to time although not daily:

    1 tin OGS
    1 tin Presbyterian
    1 tin Navy Cavendish
    1 tin Santee
    1 large tin Spilman Mixture

    1 tub PA

All of them are keeping well but the Spilman Mixture has faded a little.

My rotation has 68 "tins"...actually those flat Mason Jars...open. These are the ones I keep in the pipe cabinet along with my meerschaum collection. The "cellar", a converted wardrobe, has all my "stash"...about about 80# at the moment.

Uh Oh, we aren't all coming out of the closet are we?

5-flats of 4oz (so 60 with only a few duplicate but mainly one full one and one partially full), so let's say 50 from tins & bulk

10 speedloaders at the ready loaded up with my "go to(s)" :thumbsu:

I don't have a rotation per se, I just smoke whateve I wanna smoke.

My cellar has 5 large boxes full of tins (Hunter ceiling fan boxes just for tins). These are taped up to prevent me from getting into them easily. My intent is to open some ~3-5yr point........maybe later.

Also is my bulk toby in 1 flat of 1qt jars, 2 flats of 1/2 gt jars, 4 flats of 12 oz tall-skinnies (not all the 12 oz flats are full yet). I also dip into the 12 oz jars since they hold long flakes very very nicely. And then there's the jars (old fashioned/vintage style bail topped storage jars 3 of those that I dip into as needed.

To me, I don't care about a "rotation", I guess I'm a Puffasauraus ehhh? I smoke what I wanna smoke, usually when I wanna smoke it. Ok, so just call me, "Puff the Neanderthal"!

    Like T-bear, I estimate it's ~80#s-ish. I'm still adding bulks though.

    :velho:

I currently have 12 tins open and 3 bulk jars open - I know it's crazy. I just like different tobaccos depending on my mood or the time of day!

I have one bulk jar filled with roll cake, a tin of petersons irish flake and a tin of kingfisher open.
I usually try to keep no more than three tins open at any point.

Like Puff, I wouldn't call it a "rotation"....I just sit in front of the cabinet staring at those jars until one hollers "SMOKE MEEeeee!" louder than the rest....... Baccy-tart, that's me!
