San Cristobal Robusto.................Delicioso!!
ashamed to say I've never even seen that stick...only heard about it. And I've smoked some pretty obscure stuff
what's the profile like?
Are you talking to me????.......... Profile????.....Que?.......
Best way I can describe it is it's a very well balanced maduro from Pepin. I've only smoked 4 or 5 but have enjoyed each one.
Well I thought it was a maduro wrapper but apparently it's a dark Corojo wrapper. Whatever it is I like them a lot and am considering a box purchase (if the price is right) of the robustos. To me they have a similar taste to the Le Bijou line. The wrapper taste different but there's a familiar "Pepin-ish" flavor.
LFD Double-Ligero Maduro
Wrecked em? Damn near killed em!
San Cristy Supremo standing street side watching an X-Mas parade. Just like the holidays...chokolet, cherry, a bit of leather...for the reindeer!
Smoked a Viaje Exclusivo this afternoon. Kinda wonky burn, but great flavors. Another year and these things will be phenomenal!
NightCap...Fuente style. It's that time of year! Smoke em if ya got em.
Great night. The Grale is a personal favorite of mine, proprietary blend of Cab+Merlot+Sangiovese. Really fantastic, and it's a $20 bottle that drinks like a $40 bottle, IMHO. I'm no connoisseur of wine (or anything else, really), but I know what I like.
As for the cigar, well, I don't have anything to say that hasn't been said 1000 times before.
Hey GlassSculptor, whereabouts do you live? Not that it's any of my business, but I just noticed the snow on the ground and was curious. Man do I miss snow.
where the HELL did you get a camo palio!? tell me. tell me now!
I live in the southwest.....................of Massachusetts . I'd rather be back down south where I belong but I think I'd have to find another line of work.
Got it over at that bad place (CBid). Here's a link to a site that monitors past sales of their items and prices. You can't always go by the reports however...I have found the list is not all inclusive. Them Palios are nice cutters for a regular snip when I can't get to my tabletop with a slot machine one arm bandit handle. Most times I opt for a v-cut according to size and history of draw on certain 'gars. If you be patient, you can slip one out for around 20 bucks. Nobody wanted the camo one night and I got lucky on a quickie auction.
Not sure if links are OK here...if not, mods please forgive and delete.

You're the man!
If y'all haven't signed up for the Cigar Secret Santa, go do it now. Sign ups end today.
I'll trade you in a heartbeat. I love western Mass., I really do. This is the time of year when I start to really miss New England, so if I start being all obnoxious and talking about it too much, shut me up, will ya guys? But seriously, GS, I'll trade. Great area there.
Mt. Mandolin, It's a bit of a geographical oddity.......it's an hour and a half from any decent cigar store...
Just fired up a MOWPA.
About to saunter on over to the humidor and pick something out to accompany this six pack of shiner bock. It's been a long ass week of nothing but schoolwork, and It will stay that way until next friday. Time to reward myself. Update soon.
La Duena Petit Belicoso
That was one hell of a smoke, I love everything Pete puts out
