GAF in a Canadian Pete. Think it's either Penzance or Ten Russians time next for a lat fix
Condor Long Cut in a meer.
Not digging Condor at all. No idea why I keep giving it the benefit of the doubt. Anyone wanna trade?? It's not the soap, I love Coniston Cut Plug.
Margate (from Nesta ) in a Bekler Meer. First time smoking latakia in a meerschaum.... Berg, Kerr, is it OK to do that?
Tambo in a meer. Ahhhhhhh.
smart of you to ask the meer gods..
Can't go wrong with either!
Mashed potatoes. Fuel tanks. Ear canals.
Just had a long day at work. Smoking Star of the East in the Trevi billiard. Revisiting this one - I was pretty excited about it last summer when I was exploring lat blends and had a greater appreciation for them than I have recently. I have decided I like them milder and oriental-forward. Yet I remembered the SotE being pretty mild tasting, despite being 50% latakia....so it sat around for a while and wanted to see if my tastes had changed, or if it really was still mild and pleasant. Yep, I'm loving it. Maybe I just like latakia better when it's warm out...idk.
Oh yeah, how do you like that? Speaking of latakia, it's about the perfect "full" latakia blend from my point of view
(Post reserved so as all the better to watch Berg's reaction).
Smoking a nightcap of EMP in a clay. Maybe later i'll smoke an EMP(Enormous Meerschaum Pipe) of Nightcap, but I doubt it.
Penzance in the Dunny, again.
Irish Flake cradling 3p cradling Irish flake cradling Old Dublin in the XXL IMP meerschaum. Beautiful day, got up to 16C(61F). Some of the trees are starting to bud.
Irish Flake cradling OD... you the man !
Try it. Even if you aren't fond of Irish Flake, cradling other tobaccos with it is quite pleasant, if you have the time for a long slow smoke.
This evening I tried 4noggins Double Fantasy in my Brigham #224. Nice tobacco with a sort of mocha flavour. Smooth and sweet, not very strong. Quite enjoyable and a great room note (I could even detect it out on the balcony). Not something I'd smoke all the time, but so far I like it more than MacB Cherry Ambrosia. I did puff a bit too hard further down in the bowl and my tongue is now quite unhappy with me.
What would interest you?
Just finished a bowl of GKCPC Chocolate Silk and absolutely no bite and the flavor was as described, chocolate silk. Tomorrow will be the Dunhill Early Morning.
Tewksbury & Company's Nosfuratu in a Barber B-line bent...
Just came in from Five Brothers in the Grabow Viking
SG FVF in a 'Dawnmist' clay churchwarden - first smoke of the day, before getting ready and leaving to go to my first-ever meeting of the Pipe Club of London, at a pub in Essex: I joined PCoL last year.
