Well I’ve broken the clay for April stint after 17 days though I did have a couple this morning, but what a reason to break it. Ever since I saw a photo of this pipe I just knew it was what I wanted, the rock cob’s and all look great but this just called to me and now it’s here WOW I’d put a jumping Banana in but I’ve had a job cutting the photo’s down to 20 as it is. I’m lost for words Super Great just don’t do it justice I think the nearest I can get is “Bloody Magic” as I can see it smoked by don Genaro my favourite character in the Carlos Castaneda books.
I asked Rekamepip for it without a stem as I had this spare stem in mind and with a couple of wraps of PTFE tape it’s perfect and at a push clench-able

here on it’s maiden flight with the McClelland Frog Morton Cellar from Psquared, I’ll put some reviews up tomorrow as it’s getting late

As an added bonus there was a Cherry Wood Cob enclosed as well, thanks Rekamepip just done a quick stem with some of todays wind debris to get the feel, spot on,
The wind is getting up again outside now and they've issued a storm warning
    [IMG]
I think I’ll break this one in, on the 1st. of May,
As a couple of closing notes Clays get too hot to hold by the bowl where’s this stone bowl just gets comfortably warm a perfect outdoor pipe
I don’t know why any one would pay huge sums of money just to get a named makers pipe when they will not get a better smoke than in one of Rekamepip’s. Thanks again for the pipe I’m very pleased and all’s well at Wicker Villas

Some Hyde Park in a sandblasted Canadian ...

    [IMG] [IMG]

Good old stinky tobacco with a splash of hair tonic. Love it!

The Hyde Park wasn't drying out fast enough so I used PipeSimmo's lamp trick. He wasn't whistling Dixie when he said a few minutes would do it. Just 5 minutes was all it took to get nice and crispy.

This reminds me a lot of G&H Rum Flake, which is also a strong harsh tobacco made civilized by a delicious rum and sugar casing. Without a doubt this stuff is intensely satisfying, even sipped slowly. And it's not at all like any of the other Peterson tobaccos. That blending house is batting a thousand IMHO.
