I thought I finish up the day with sweet tobaccos, so the first one is Moe's Confetti in a smooth full bend 1977 Crown Coachman 215. If you like burleys, you should try this blend. Braves swept the doubleheader from the Rockies, and the Upton brothers were the first ones to hit back to back homers in a game since the Pirates' Paul and Lloyd Waner in 1938. I've always said that baseball is one sport where you can watch thousands of games and every so often, still see something happen that you've never seen before.

Oh, so THAT'S why you've been smoking Grasmere Flake? Couldn't get your hands on any M79, huh? Next best thing I suppose  Though the M79 goes a bit easier on the hair tonic.

I've learned not to dis the 79. Hef, Frankie Boy, and his many loyal acolytes have (or had) a soft spot for that weed. And they can get their feelings hurt so easily.

Temptation got the better of me. MacBaren HH Vintage Syrian in a medium IMP meerschaum freehand. I'm liking this tobacco a lot. Not particularly strong, but a full smokey taste and burns nicely right out of the tin. Just a big glass of water and crushed ice.

Reading box scores, watching game highlights on MLB TV, and smoking Angler's Dream in a smooth 1998 Parker 489 three quarter bend Billiard. Ice water is my drink. Sleep will just have to wait!

Still up, still smoking. This time it's Essence of Vermont in a smooth straight late 1970s Tinderbox Selected Grecian Briar Dublin. Almost tastes like pancakes and maple syrup.

Same here. I wish there was an all night pancake house here (Waffle House does not count), because I'd be there right now! Hhhmmm... how about that H&H Vermont Meat Candy?

Ha! The only Denny's we had in town closed. It was in one of the worst locations for a restaurant that I ever saw. Their pancakes were good and reasonably priced though. If Cracker Barrel was open this late, I'd be there. I decided to eat a slice of pizza instead. I like the smoking section in my house better.

Ha, the last Denny's I ate at was 5 years ago in Vegas with the ex, we had pretty basic food and no dessert, it was $27, that was enough for us.
Never been to one since, and at least there were more than a few other choices out there for late night dining.
I think a lot of Denny's have bitten the dust in the last 10 years or so.
But yes, smoking at home is so much nicer..

My last smoke before bed is MacBaren London Blend in a 1980s made in London no name smooth straight apple. I'm almost out of this and at some point, I'm going to have to restock it. It's not ERR or Edgeworth Slices, but it's a nice, steady, pleasant smoke. Thanks to JRobert for turning me on to this blend a while back.
