Just woke up a half hour ago, and am enjoying my first pipe of the day: SWR in a cob of course :) That's pretty much become my standard first smoke of the day now.
Btw, this is one of the "new" pouches of SWR. It has the manufacturer listed on the pouch now (Scandinavian Tobacco Group Lane Ltd.) and the tobacco is much moister than the older pouches I'm used to.

I was only the middleman in that, the hate started with you-know-who. But I will be partaking of some later.

Packing my second cob of the morning, MM Legend bent, with some freshly opened Carter Hall (love that pouch aroma!) to go along with my second cup of coffee.
Hope you all have a great day :puffy:

First smoke was a DTG from last evening a blend of 2/3 AJ's topped with Anni Kake in the MM Diplomat. This morning it has been 3 cuppas, strong and black with the Black Rock Cob, made by public Hater #1 , with the last of my AoTM concoction. :( It's a sad day in pipersville and will have to break into the vault to see if I can scrounge up some Plum Cake and Anni Kake to put things right.

I'm still not sure where I would be on the scale. When I first smelled the flake, a Neil Young song popped into my head. There is a line in "Thrasher" - "To the rose clipped by the bullwhip" - that seemed quite appropriate. Very, very floral, with the expected underlying tobacco-ish aroma. I only smoked a small bowl's worth, and didn't get to the point where the tobacco fully developed after the scent settled in.
The GH blends I spend most of my time with are on the Malawi - Fire Cured end of the spectrum, this is the first one I've had that was a floral assault. I may come around to it, provided a large bowl develops a little more than a small one.

This morning, it was a Castello full of C&D 081 that I pressed a couple of years ago.

We put the deck chairs out, and lit the B-B-Q  it's Brass Monkey's still [IMG]

Cold wet and windy in the YorkShire, the Tobacco plants have been back out in the Greenhouse 4 hours now and it's still only 55*F in there. Yesterday it got up to 80*F and I took the wool pullover off and rolled up my wool shirt sleaves, filled the ClayPril with Wicker Mix, opened a chilled bottle of Weston's Cider and had an hour with my feet up :bing: I told Mrs Wicker I was Fumigating the Greenhouse :whis: :blah: good job there's a Forum filter
Lit the ClayPril with Bokum Riff Bourbon this morning and drove into town to put money in the bank,
then came on here and paid Rekamepip for 2 more works of Art :nwor:

I'm smoking Lucky Duck Workday Blend, in my MM CG, as I go about my rounds on the market today. It's stopped raining for now. The temp is about 41 or 42* F. Only supposed to get up into the low 50s today. The LDWB is what I'll be snoking 'til I get back home. Hope everyone has a great day!
