Carter Hall in a Dr. G Westbrook and hot black coffee on the side.
Well, I found I had some scraps of LEO in a baggie in my briefcase so did a 50/50 with Kendal Kentucky in the Wicker Clay. Put the bass note back in LEO. Good combo.
It could be their attempt at acorn. I've got one similar to it.
In the meantime, I'm stepping out for a brisk walk with the proven 'trail king'... the ol' Vendome full of Peterson's Irish Oak.
I fired up a bowl of a local blend called Black Coral (black cavendish) and realized how much I do enjoy black cavendish! It had been a while but it really hit the spot, good flavor, didn't bite and the wife loves the room note. Need to make a point to pick more up.
PS Proper English in a Falcon, more coffee.
After it's been in a jar for a while the "yeastiness" of the pancake taste subsides and the maple taste and smell comes up a bit. Which is why I'm having a bowl of Essence of Vermont in a Peterson Canadian along with a cup of black coffee for breakfast this morning. -3C(26F)H68%
It's a Lane RLP-6 and Dr. Grabow kind of day.
Penzance in a Comoy Bulldog and Coffee. Have a long day ahead, but expecting some pipes in the mail today or tomorrow.
Lighting up another bowl of the LDWB in the MMCG. I find that this blend smokes best when gravity filled, and lightly tamped when needed. Raining again. Good morning PSFers!
CH in the new cob again. Smoked about 12 bowls of only Carter Hall since yesterday afternoon. I've not ever smoked just this much of one blend since I picked up the pipe.
Nice sunny day in germany (72°F) and I have a day off. Woohoo - heading for my 4th BBQ this year and packed the bag with 9 pipes and tons of tobacco. Maybe I can manage to take a pic with my mobile device, have it uploaded to photobucket and then upload it here, have to see...
Have a great day everyone!
Wiesbaden town park, 2 minutes from where I live, today:
Good Morning all, hope all is well. Nice view Simmo. Pretty much way the trees look around my neighborhood. Froggy OTT in an old tomato. Lots of black tea to take the 38F3C chill off.
Try to keep that weather in Indiana YAPPG, OK?
CBW in a Wessex billiard with the morning Maxwell House and have a great day everyone!
Truly the nectar of the gods!
I agree, but it is such a shame that the brewery had a major overhaul and in doing so lost a certain something in its brew, it just doesn't taste the same anymore, the price of progress I suppose.
You're starting to sound like an old Murray's smoker.
And it would be even better if it tasted good
SG Lakeland Gold in the Astas billiard. First time ever skipping a class out of concern for my safety.
Aye by gum its fine!........thats a good thing Jon, when I grow up I want to look like that guy.
Starting the day with some Sugar Barrel in a Spillcob. Raining out right now but supposed to be sunny this afternoon.
