Black Lung, in the Pony Foot Meer Yves St. Claude Fantaisie (thanks dbear). This blend got better the further down I smoked it. Next it's on to GH Top Black Cherry (again thanks dbear), in the MM CG.

No pipes for me, I'm still in Delaware for a family meeting of sorts and I'm not going to stand around outside a hotel smoking a pipe. I head back to Ohio tomorrow, after a stop at Baldwin's Book Barn, which is a truly incredible used book store.

It's been several years since I smoked this pipe, which was once in my semi-regular rotation. I used to smoke the VaPer Three Nuns tinned version in it, but decided to try something new in this elegantly designed, great smoker. Dunbar in a 1980 black sandblasted full bent Ascorti Business Extension Saxaphone. And ice water to drink.

Haven't heard of that one, Waino! Or did you mix a Mac Baren tobacco with Peterson's Sherlock Holmes? Sounds good.

Escudo (thanks WalkinStick), in the Wild Honey. Very Pleasant smoke. Reminds me of LNF.

    Agreed. It is very shocking.

But take heart! There are actually more tobaccos around now than ever before. They've just been forced underground.

As you tour this forum you'll probably be shaking your head at this weird language we speak. Well, it's not really a language. They're just acronyms for all the thousands of tobaccos being enjoyed by us pipe smokers today.

Hmm, I have mixed the local B&M thing, which they call "nightcap" (sort of a chocolate/vanilla icecreamy something) with Lane 1Q and Burley no-bite. Let is set for awhile and am smoking it in my Tavern while watching The Hobbit. :wiz: This could grow on me. :bing:

Saturday night. I've loaded the Squatchdog with McC 5100 and the Tinsky with Carter Hall. I've got a healthy serving of Woodford Reserve and the batteries on the Kobo are fully charged, so it's time for some balcony reading.

Ralf's review of the #1 on You Tube had my mouth watering. But it too is unavailable here. So, the #2 has a heftier allotment of perique, or is it the one with latakia?
