    Sunny and warm here in Delaware! Finally. Temps in the 70's all week. Maybe even will hit 80! Started the morning with Russian Morning tea and Walnut in the Sherlock Holmes. Then a bowl of Sugar Barrel in a smaller mm cob. Good day so far.

    Some Peterson's Irish Oak in a Straight Washington, Maxwell House Daily Blend on the side. I think this is only the second time Smoking this PIO, but it is working for me in the morning.

    Also had a fried egg sandwich this morning. added ham, sour cream, and Frank's to it.

    damn was it good.

    Be sure you fill only 1/12 full for the first smoke, advancing in increments of 1/12 to build a nice even cake. I learned this on the Internet. By next March you can be a devil and fill all the way to the top.

    Can always tell it's someone that hasn't lived around here when they ask why my shovels don't get put away, but stay by the front door year 'round.

    Just fired up the left overs from my last smoke last night. Peterson's Sherlock Holmes in Peterson Christmas Billiard. I really do not smoke this pipe enough.

    Oh, and I almost forgot!

    You need to take plenty of time with each smoke: at least a full hour between relights. Pipes are delicate creatures. Especially the ones made out of rocks.
