    Good morning all!

Some Bendigo Plug in a small Upshall. I just now regained consciousness.

If Irish Flake ever starts tasting like Borkum Riff Ultra Light, then tuck into some Bendigo. A gift from a fellow pipe smoker in County Mayo Ireland. Endorsed by Old Nick himself. Use sparingly.

    Good morning.
Smoking some "Admiral's Choice Natural Cavendish" in a MM Washington cob. This discount blend has really grown on me. Needs lots of drying time to be useable (at least 24 hours), but it smokes cool and sweet when dry.

Ok, this morning I had some "Early morning" in my Calabrest with a cup of Tiesta "energizer" tea sweetened with honey. Just to kick the day off.

Suzy and Molly were very hungry this morning and made that known, although I'm not the one they try to wake up in the mornings. But, I got up to feed them, and they turned finicky on me. It took some coaxing to get them to eat, stubborn little devils. "Oh, wait! We're making this too easy for big guy. Let's give him a hard time so he'll bend to our tender mercies." Well, they let stand there looking like my usual self, until I found something they couldn't resist - chicken and tuna - and then it's like, "Okay, he's wide awake now. We win. Let's eat!" And then they forgot to tip the waiter as they walked on past me after they were finished. I dunno... ya try to raise 'em as best you can, and they forget you when you're old and grey, and there's a plate of food in front of them!

I didn't totally waste my time, though. I lit up a bowl of Angler's Dream in a 2001 Karl Erik Ekstravagant A medium bend with a pointy bottom and a wide top. Hhhmmmm... sometimes I think Russ O. trained them to wake me up so I'll smoke more of his tobacco.

Was supposed to head in to town and mail some packages this morning. Decided that smoking more Hyde Park in an IMP meerschaum and having another coffee was the better part of valour. Ice covered roads and reports of at least a dozen cars in the ditch between here and town made the decision easy.

Just back from an outing after a long trip to and from the VA to see my PCP for my 6 month visit, enjoyed the Tsuge Tankard on the outing with AJ's Vapers.

I don't know why, but every time I see your pictures of that tankard I just stare at it for a few minutes. Probably as a Falcon smoker, it has a weird attractiveness to me.
