The first bowl of a pound of pegasus that arrived today in a brebbia naif billiard. I like this tobacco and have decided to start putting up pounds for the future.

Now smoking the current Three Nuns tinned version in a 2003 smooth three quarter bend Fiammata Odissea Titania 02 Silver Line 3 Rinaldo Straight Grain egg. A great smoker! I'm about to go to work, and listen to the Red Sox and Orioles game on the XM, too. A bottle of Nu Grape soda on the side.

Hope you and yours get better soonest, Fordy!

Jim, do you have a spread sheet just to keep track of your pipe titles?:)

Not exactly. Since I often dedicate pipes to blends, I have a rtf. file where I list my smokes. Sure saves on typing! Also, since I smoke different blends more often than I used to, it helps me keep track in case my memory fails on what tobacco I'm smoking in which pipe. I have a lousy memory for some things, but I know what pipe I smoke which tobacco in. The hard part is deciding sometimes what I want to smoke, and then I have to decide which pipe I feel like smoking. And once I'm out of a blend and decide not to buy more or it or need a break from it, I have to either let the pipe sit until I smoke that mixture again or decide what tobacco gets smoked in that pipe next. These should be my biggest problems!! :)

In past years, when I had fewer pipes and smoked fewer blends - and wasn't enabled by some of you guys (after all, it certainly can't be my fault!) - it was much easier to pick a tobacco and a pipe. I like now better!! Who else is in the same boat?

PS. Derrick, that was funny!!!! :xd:

So pipe smokers where do you fit in on the InksErwin scale? One being Carter Hall and a cob, Ten being, I'm just like Jim. I think I'm around a three.

I aim for 10, but do not have enough hardware to support that. So I would say a 5.

McB ODF in the Meer Falcon.
I can't find out anything about this bowl on t'interweb, so gonna post some pics later with a hope someone might be able to help. I think it is a genuine Falcon bowl, there is a stamp of sorts on the base. Smoking it at the moment, so later, when the missus is settled hopefully - if she can stop throwing up.
