Back from the 100 mile drive
nice warm weather - great to ride in car and smoke pipe

even nicer weather to get out in the garage to play in the rock pile
but i really like working stone when it gets to be 85+ degrees

so off to garage to smoke a little tobacco with Mr Morton

That is true and the OTC's were sold everywhere then. But there were proper tobacconists a plenty - I remember at least three in town in the 70's. Like sweet shops with all the big jars of tobacco on the shelves & in the window. None at all now, sad to say.

Oh no, we can not put anything anywhere in the house. People might think someone lives in our house if we did that

I've never tried that one. I've wondered if the Amphora Red Match P&C sells is close. I like AR, but I really prefer the Amphora Brown.

Today started with some Bob's Chocolate Flake in my newly restemmed Irish Seconds, and just now I enjoyed some Top Black Cherry in my '13 St Patrick's Antique Zulu (B35)

Alas, the stem did not want to come out anyway, and it was ornery and made a run for it, but found the floor instead..

John is there any noticeable difference between the Dunhill Flake now and the Light Flake previously sold?

    Well shoot

ever since the other day when i moved our deep freeze into the house my shoulder is pulled
and needless to say cutting stone aint going to happen tonight.

hope this gets better soon or i will start to get grumpy

so i guess it is another night of searching ebay for good pipe deals

    and maybe a beer !

filling up the cherrywood pipe with some sextant - that will make me feel better
