Yeah, the point was twofold for me
    1) see if I could manage to do it
    2) see how long I could care enough
    3) learn more about my preferences
    4) learn more about my favorite blend

I still suspect the answer to number one is "yes"
but the answer to number two is only "a few days":puffy:

Doesn't mean there isn't more to learn by getting back to smoking this blend in these pipes, though!

35? year old Half&Half in a 35 year old cob lit by a 35 year old match. Just opened the tub I have. Seal was solid and got a nice whiff of tobacco when it was opened. Still most and smokes great. This was the American tobbaco company edition.

Hell, I have a problem bringing my lunch to work. By the time lunch time rolls around I am no longer in the mood for what I brought!

For my smoking, I bring 3 pipes and no less than 3 different tobacco's in my leather case to work with me each day so I can choose something for the way home or if I get a chance for a smoke at lunchtime.

Having finished my most recent literary undertaking, I'm finally sitting down with some Holmes - A Study on Scarlet. Solani ABF in The Deerstalker seemed appropriate.

Thought this might happen. Interesting isn't it. Same thing happened for me with Painter Hills when I smoked it predominantly over a few days.

Peterson's Special Reserve 2012 in a Peterson meerschaum. First bowl of this and it's quite mild. Didn't notice it while smoking it it at first, but walking through the room there's a very pleasant Cafe' Mocha smell. Raining lightly 25C(77F)H54%.

Well, I'm still enjoying the Cherry Blend in my DrG Billiard but it seems some of the wannabe old codgers can't stay the course... better luck next time :beck:

Penzance in Squatch. C-130 (I think) just flew overhead heading to the local Arsenal (here in Ohio).

Nah, it's doing ground scans for the rare metals in old Volvos.

Second bowl of Special Reserve 2012. Good, but not as special as the 2011 edition. The mocha note from the 2012 is nice but not as impressive for me as the tonquin bean flag that got waved in 2011. Nice little thunderstorm came and passed. Dropped 3 degrees C in 10 minutes. 22C(71F) H61%
