A high-quality, hand-made, straight grain briar. Or a cheap, mass-produced one. Or a meer. Or a clay. Or a cob.
Seriously - try it in a meer or a clay, to get the unmodified flavour.

The best pipe for St Bruno is my pipe :)

Seriously though, if you ever smoke GH's floral stuff, or Condor, then you probably have a pipe for it. Use that pipe. St. Bruno is mildly scented/flavored compared to most of these, but it will still ghost your pipe.

If you have not smoked this kind of stuff before, try it in the cheapest pipe you have which still smokes well. Best if it's not ghosted with a strong aromatic or latakia blend. I'd think the ghost from St. Bruno might be less tenacious than that of more strongly flavored stuff, but it still will be tough to get out if you dont like it.

I should have gone to bed two hours ago...but I didn't and now I'm restless. Just came in from Kendal Dark in the Ben Wade billiard

Actually, i do have a pipe that I've sampled some Condor in, from Spillproof, and was my fav pipe for smoking up the Grousemoor sample I got from the box pass, so I'll use it for the St. Brunos.... it's my little SMS Meer bent billiard. Think I might just make it a lakeland only pipe. Though I do like the lakeland ghost with middleton cherry.. guess I'm weird like that..lmao

Well, it's not a "Condor Moment" but it sure is good stuff! I'm afraid I'm squarely on the lakeland love side of this issue.

St Bruno's would be great in any pipe. Very special stuff! No need to dedicate a pipe to it. It has not ghosted any pipe I've smoked it in.

Peterson's Summertime 2012 in an anonymous small bent meerschaum. Interesting tobacco this, not just the novelty that I thought it would be. One of those rare absolutely still mornings here on the porch. 13C(55F)h88%

I have set aside a pipe for Condor and some of the other Lakeland scented blends but I do not find it necessary for St Bruno. I have been smoking it in my VaPer/VaBur pipes and the pipes I smoke Burley's in without any issues. I have been smoking St Bruno's Flake and have never tried the RR but I would assume it would be the same as far as the scent is concerned. I would be interested to hear if anyone had a ghosting problem with St Bruno. Maybe I am just oblivious! Lol.
