Getting started on an all-nighter as I rewrite my book. Crammed a wad of Valley Vanilla from Gatlin-burlier in my first briar, a Wessex Guard and poured a glass of Rye. I'm listening to Gonzo - The Life and Work of Dr. Hunter S. Thompson and trying to crank it out. It's going to be a long night, but I want to get half of this thing under my belt before the weekend. Sent the wife and dogs back to the Knoxville house and I have the whole Gatlinburg place to myself. Stuffed myself with Mexican food at No Way Jose's and have no reason to get up from the desk unless I have to hit the head or get another bottle from the bar.

Cracked open a tin of SG Sam's Flake and I'm gonna have it in a Comoy's Slightly Bent Billiard with some unsweetned Earl Grey ice tea. It smells fantastic in the tin, I hope it transfers to the pipe.
Coniston cut plug in the frankenclay. Lovely. Even made my car smell pretty. I like this tobacco.
Evening, fellows. The start of school plus sinus problems has really put a damper on my Old Codger week. So, I gave up.

Two Friends English Chocolate in the Kapet 68. So far, I like it!

Oldchurch topped off with a little bit of Telegraph Hill, in the Stanwell Deluxe brandy. It all tastes good after a bowl of salmon chowder. Man these Danes know how to make a good smoking pipe...

Boswell's Best in my new Blakemar Poker! BB is one of my new favorite tobaccos. Even Mrs. Mikey J says she could get used to the aroma! If SWMBO approves, it's a winner!
Condor blended in a Falcon.
I am smoking turkish in a cob. I know that many cob folks swear by burley and Carter Hall when smoking the cob, but the mellow turkish mixed with the sweetness of the cob smoked at a slow gentle pace is mild yet delicious!
