I like FVF quite well, but I hate leaving a pipe and coming back to it later. Always tastes lousy to me, and progressively more so the farther it's been smoked before setting it aside. This was just the last 5-10 minutes worth of smoke left, so it was not too yummy!

    Good Afternoon,

Well, playtime is over for the new Squatch. I gave it two days with a pretty well packed ribbon cut, a minute ago I jammed about a quarter tin of Special Latakia Flake in it.

Smoking , looking at pipe and drinking beer .... not a bad day my friend :th1:

Had a bowl of H&H/Grabow Freehand while fishing the little stream w/ my son Anthony . He caught his first [ 2 ] little brookie !

I'm making stuffed Manicotti for dinner . For anyone thats a newbie at it ... put your filling in a quart size ziploc and cut off a bottom corner and use it to fill the pasta . Anyway , when I'm done , I'm gonna pop a bottle of Poggio San Pietro Toscana [ Sangiovese ] . It's an 8 dollar bottle that I'll let breath for an hour and a half and then pour through the venturi . I'll let ya know if it's good . Looking forward to some MB Latakia tonight

Closets can be interesting. Went looking for something and found a surprise tin of Irish flake and a Peterson bent Rhodesian. Must have been there for 3 years at least since there was stuff over it from 2009. The tin was sealed and hissed nicely when I opened it. Smoking it all afternoon.

I have been using the air pocket method for flakes in my pipes...shorter smoke than fold and stuff...but enjoyable.

Dark Flake in the Oscar Dry...Harpoon on the side. (Storm is here)
