A "dog" as in no good? This one has been completely reworked by Night Owl Pipe Works at http://nightowlpipeworks.com, he put some time into the stem, funneled the airway too, he does top notch work IMO, enlarged airway, new stain, new handcut stem and got rid of that Jobey tenon system which I hated.

"dog" = no good. "Dog" = Bulldog. The only thing I do not like about mine is the draw. Might need to check out nightowl and see if he can improve it some.

House of Calabash Nothing Quite Like That First Pipe Of The Day in the Peterson System 303. I'm falling madly in love with this tobacco.

Hopefully no sabre-toothed dust bunnies. Wait 25 years and go through the closets and you are bound to find a surprise or three. I was looking for a tux since I know I have at least one somewhere, but if I can't find it I'll order another and guaranteed the day it arrives I'll find the one I already have.

Prairie Wind in a Peterson 80s. Nice and sunny out. 23C(70F)H38%

Lol, no kidding. This Steven Books stuff is like the Rolls-Royce of tobacco. No, not an aro, it's Virginia, 45-year aged Turkish, and 47-year aged burley. Very natural taste, but the aged tobacco lends it some great complexity. It's really wonderful stuff, and to be honest, I think his tobacco is worth what he charges. Sometimes, you get what you pay for.

General White Portion to help take the edge off this day. Not helping so much, but there's no more work that can really be done by me at the moment, so I've got some down time

Large bowl of 507c (with HV on top for flash) took me through the day.
Got some LNF burnin' in my E. Wilke bent billiard right now.
