I like it a lot, because it has the perfect amount of Latakia for me - it's only a hint of lat in the background. The Virginias are top notch quality and rather bright and refreshing than McClelland-type-Sweet. It's pretty much like Telegraph Hill, but with Latakia instead of Perique. Medium strength - very nice blend, you should try it. :)
Pretty cool that you've met Mr Pease! This is so far off and to me this is only a big name of a brand, I often forget there are real persons behind those names. Did you get any feedback about your rocks?

Having another smoke, Esoterica Dunbar in a 1962 Dunhill Shell LBS. Getting very deep flavors from this bowl.

Sounds like it's going to storm again. Not that I mind, I love the storms. It's just crazy how often we've been having them. Every day for at least a week here lately. Been a weird summer. It's only gotten above 90˚F a handful of times, and it's been raining constantly. Oh well, certainly can't say we have a drought this year. Hopefully this will help to replenish our aquifers; they need it.

I met him on the last day of the show, just as i getting ready to leave......
so basically just gave him description of the stone and its history,, mentioned the guys here on PSF
Handed him a Pipe and asked for him to accept a challenge to come up with a Rock Cob Blend
so i take that with a grain of salt or sand to see if anything happens

Straining six Bass Ales thru the kidneys while having an awesome bowl of OJK in the London Made twin-bore. Two particulary good smokes in one day--what more could one ask for?

Right now it's Kansas City (thanks, Rekamepip!) in the Falcon. Guess I'm going to have to put something in the black Rock Cob next. Wonder what it'll be.
