it had really dried and gone darker

Our Black Stoker does contain the 1Q, however it is not the core of the blend. Our blend Big Dipper is actually the blend that contains the most 1Q, very similar in taste and smell.
Now smoking Dunhill Deluxe Navy Rolls in a 1998 smooth three quarter bend Peterson Limerick 69. Great stuff!
