Good morning everyone! Today's my Friday! I'm taking a four day week-end (he crowed giddily). Thanks to rekamepip I'm smoking Sutliffe Private Stock Academy in my 2013 Kaywoodie PSF POY. Black coffee from a brown mug. Anyway, One Produce Row walkabout, ten deliveries, three hundred miles is all that separates me from four days of sweet bliss. Puff on PSFers!

Another beautiful day here in Pretoria. Unfortunately both my wife & I are nursing a bad head cold. Just come back from the pharmacy & dosed us both up. Also couldn't resist stopping in at the German bakery for a few Danishes - just to cheer us up. So it will be a take it easy day here. Either way, I'm having a pipe right now -FVF in an old GBD New Era billiard.

Been working at home this morning. Just took a break. Smoked a bowl of my Accidental Mixture with some bourbon added for flavour in a MM Missouri Pride. Quite good. Also, since it is a really sunny day, took out all my cobs to get som fresh air.

A bit of a coincidence there. For me it's Rach 2 in the background, performed by the extraordinary Valentina Lisitsa with the LSO conducted by Michael Francis. Valentina's playing shows the tenderness of an angel, the power and beauty of a Siberian tiger. What a treasure she is.

And what a treasure this St. Bernard Flake in a Dunhill Diplomat is. A big Thank You to the one and only, Tinsky-packing, Strang-smoking PipeSimmo!

Yes indeed. And it gets even better the longer it sits around. A surprisingly stout smoke for such a light colored Virginia. Wonderful nut like aroma.

I bet, not sure how much the ten months of age on mine has made a difference but it will be interesting to see how an older tin tastes. Still in two minds as whether or not to age it more or smoke it, I think I'll win either way. I'm just surprised how much of a nic kick it gives, probably the strongest tobacco I've had to date.

Dunbar in a stubby little Jake Hackert poker. The rest of the day--more Dunbar in a little Wanner billiard.

    Excellent idea.

The Sutliff assortment is large and bewildering. Only rarely do the names give any clue about what you're getting. Your reviews, along with the Ruff ratings, make it much easier to go about selecting an initial batch to try.

We no longer need to rely on Thuber's rough translations (e.g. Moldy Pooch) :whis: Presumably he hurled that one only because of your frequent riffs on Spinnaker.

Still nursing a bowl of St. Bernard in a DH ...

Now that's my usual dose of baked beans on toast out of the way, time to crack on with my own perique blend in an old under-utilised basket pipe.

Good morning all, at home waiting for the concrete contractor. Enjoying a bowl of GLP Bohemian Scandal in the City Deluxe with french press 8 O'Clock coffee, black. :toast: Berg.
