    Mecompco: Congrats on 25.

Painter Hills in a Peterson 80s. Warming up with this smoke and some hot black coffee. 6C(43F)H86%, should have put on a jacket when I went out for an abbreviated morning walk.

Its my day off, so I was up at 4 to put a pork shoulder on to smoke. While I was up, I figured I would start my day with my coffee, my bible, and a basket pipe full of McClelland 2015. Good start so far. I had to wait until it was light enough to get the picture!

"Super Value" Cherry Cavendish at the moment. Looking forward to some SPS Black Swan later.

Finishing up some Strang in the DH ...

This is like an ultra rich, ultra creamy version of Mac Baren Stockton. A simmering, smoldering flavor bomb.

Warm & breezy early Spring day here on the SA highlands. Having a late (3PM) lunch which probably means I won't want supper. Then it's FVF in a little Pietenpauw billiard.

Realized last night why I have been down on my smoking recently. I hadn't smoked CH! So opened a fresh pouch and filled a mm cob. Tasted so good I had a bowl of Walnut, followed by MB H&C. I'm back!

As a native Chicagoan, I hang up on my relatives in Texas when they complain about how cold it is at 60°F.

Edited to add: More MacB Dark Twist with my morning coffee.

It took me awhile to get moving this morning. Just packed some CH in the MM Diplomat. Washing it down with copious amounts of hot, black coffee.

It's pretty much what you would expect from a Missouri Meerschaum. I picked it up for about $5 at the local B&M; it's just a good, cheap pipe. It does smoke like a champ, though.

I believe this particular pipe isn't a true cob though. I think I read somewhere it's a hardwood made to look like one. It can get a little hot to the touch.

Slept in late, having a bowl of MacB Golden Extra in a Bullitt Proof with a cup of Maxwell House to try and get the cobwebs swept out. Morning All!

Well now, yesterday sure as hell got away from me, I had an appointment scheduled at the VA that got cancelled before I left thankfully then the day went to hell. Ended up giving 5 pipes a shave, i.e. I reamed them out, I used to yell profanities at them early on in my pipe smoking career until I found out that wasn't what they meant by reaming. The pipes were the original MM Diplomat with Wellington Forever Stem, the MM Diplomat with blue and white Forever Stem, the Irwin Cobb Cob, the MM Mizzou with plum Forever Stem and the Tsuge Tankard. Went about smoking several with the latest iteration of Elizabethan Mixture and found the MM Mizzou and Tsuge Tankard really made it zing the original MM Diplomat not so much so I think it either needs to be reamed more or really gone over for a cleaning although it smokes other tobacco's really well maybe EM is not a good match for it. Drank loads of PRM's and went to bed early and never got back on so I apologize for that, missing Mr. & Mrs. mecompco's 25th, congratulations, and of course my sign off sooooooooooo with a PRM of Ethiopian Yirgagcheffe Chelbessa Coffee by my side in the PRM and the MM Mizzou with plum Forever Stem loaded with Firefly Mix and we, Levi and I, back from a nice but very humid walkabout with the Tsuge Tankard filled with EM. I also got a great night of sleep arise at 0830! ENT appointment 2 states away today..... sigh

It's kind of late for a Good Morning PSFer's so I'll just say:

    Hello again hello
I just came to say hello
    I couldn't sleep
    at all last tonight
    and I know its late
    I just couldn't wait
    Hello my friends hello
I just came to let you know
I think about you every night
    when I'm puffing alone
    and your there at home
    hello
    :D
