Well Thanks to the once burleyish mayor who sold out to golden extra

I am currently smoking KingB Twist

    100_3675.JPG

    in my nording snake pipe
    :th1:

even though it appears to look like something the neighbors dog squeezed out
It took a while to dry out and it has been sitting outside all day doing just that
    sliced thin

Mr Mayor told me it was a no nonsense good old boy manly mans tobacco

and after a few relights i found that it is smooth as silk - it is rather a nice tasting burley
-here i thought it would grow hair or something......

Wow, I made a very nice evening repast, fresh baked Herbed Focaccia Bread, lightly brushed with extra virgin olive oil (EVOO), filled with fresh garden tomato slices, basil cut chiffonade style, Himalayan Sea Salt, Cracked Black Peppercorns, Organic Oregano, thinly sliced purple onion, Provolone Cheese and Sweet Capicola then done Panini style and served with fresh cucumber wedges from the garden drizzled with EVOO, Himalayan Sea Salt, Cracked Black Peppercorns and Organic Oregano with Trader Joe's pitted black olives on the side.

Now smoking a bowl of Firefly Mix in the MM Diplomat with blue and white Forever Stem, diet Gingerale at room temperature is my drink.

Spent the day at the Jersey Shore. Took my mom to see her home town, Sea Isle City NJ. Got back home and smoked with Pops. He had some Mellow Virginia in one of his old Carey 'Magic Inch' pipes and I had some M79 in the dedicated MM Legend.

PipeSimmo, where are your manners: only the French smoke and eat simultaneously...

Okay, that's it for tonight. Time onboard is 220205 b Aug 13, 13.0 °C, humidity 77%, pressure 1020 hPa, wind S 1 bft. Good night.

Where did Snake go? He was suppose to have my back while I was getting back in school. We were in good hands with old Morse, though.

Yeah you're right, I shouldn't have read FnB's culinary essay while smoking.

Last pipe of the night, Latakia Flake in the Boswell Churchwarden. With a bit of luck I'll have a normal night of sleep, i.e. 3-4 pages or so, if not, see you then! ;)

Broken record here. Father Dempsey in a cob mod. Finally getting a few hummingbirds around the feeder. Nice to see them back. Neighbor came back and brought me a cool Roswell Tee with a flying saucer on it on it of course for taking care of his lawn the past three weeks. Y'all have a fine fine evening!

The Padres are ahead of the Pirates 2-0 in the 7th, Phillies and Rockies are tied 2-2- in the 6th, O's lead the rays 4-2 in the :dkn: (aka Fishnbanjo inning), Yankees and Jays are tied 2-2 in the 6th, and the Reds are beating the D-Backs 8-0 in the :dkn:. Thanks to Flatbush Paul, I'm smoking Kendal's #7 in a 1970s slight bend black sandblasted Comoy's Silver Cloud 624. It's an underrated blend. A bottle of Cheerwine is my drink.

Smoking Captain Black White in the Dr. Grabow Savoy that the FedEx man kindly left on my door step this afternoon. A pint glass of Murphy's Stout is keeping me company as well.

Penzance in a Peterson billiard with Coors. Not drinking Berg's diet beer although I probably should be. Sat outside with my wife and had my smoke and beer and enjoyed the company.
