I own a Baskerville, too. It's a really great pipe, isn't it?
Phillies and Rockies are tied 2-2 in the 7th, Yanks and Rays are tied 2-2 in the 8th, the Nats are beating the Cubbies 6-1 in the 4th, and the Rangers are beating the Astros 2-1 in the Fishnbanjo inning. Going to take a work break and watch a BBC Sherlock Holmes TV episode from 1965, so I'm listing my next smoke a few minutes early. Thanks to Yappg, I'm smoking Dunhill Elizabethan in a really big 2002 three quarter bend paneled light brown sandblasted Ardor Urano Fatta A Mano square shaped bulldog sitter. This will take a while!
At the moment, the Barling Quaint in my avatar, stuffed with C&D Odessa. Yum!!
Howdy fine PSF'ers.
Vacation continues with Davidoff Flake Medallions in my Jobey Fawn earlier today.
Now firing up some Dunhill Standard Mixture Medium (1997) in my Sav Extra 506 billiard.
I love how it hangs, of all the Sherlock Holmes set this is probably my favorite.
middletons cherry blend in mm cobb. just bought it today. way better than paladin black scary. really good smoke, not goopy or overly sweet. can taste the burley reaaly well with thst wisp of cherry. i like it!
Is this the pipe for which there is no longer a picture in this thread : http://pipesmokersforum.com/community/threads/some-of-jiminks-pipes-part-2.30207/ ??
I really like that pipe!
Getting to the bottom of my Lancers Slices jar so I gravity filled the Savinelli Apple with some crumbs ant it is singing to me.
B&M English blend in the lattice billiard meer, front porch, ice tea and kicked back relaxing.
Peretti's Midnight (thanks, YAPPG!) in the Kaywoodie PSF POY 2013. Great pipe and a great blend. Still working, but not so feverishly.
GE in a Lark before bed.
So what did you think of the briar fox tobacco
calling it a day
coffee and donuts in the morning if the night shift don't hog them all
this is a robust blend. I wasn't expecting this to be a heavy blend like that but then again C&D are known for that. it makes me think of Brown flake from Germain minus the Germain topping. This has Kentucky burley mixed in. The burley ads a bit of a toasty nutty taste. Nice nic hit also. Would be good with a black coffee in the afternoon.
Donuts, num, num, num. Crispy cream, too! mmmmmm, having them with some Constant Comment Decaf tea. Had some more soup for dinner and a coke zero. That and some extra nodding off because of some meds for this sinus crap is about all I have done since noon. I have had some nice bowls of FnB's Anni Kake but not tasting or smelling much. Head is just not working right, lol, bout like normal in that regard. Rest of me is ok, tho.
I went and looked, actually I was drinking 454. Just used up the last of the Kick Ass but couldn't remember the name of the 454 horse power. It's good stuff. I like all of their dark double roasted coffees.
Smoking Maltese Falcon in a bent Grabow. I like this stuff as an early part of the day lat blend. Soon, either the Russians or the kaked Pirates will hit the stage.
The Astros and Rangers are tied 4-4 in the 9th. I'm smoking Dunhill Deluxe Navy Rolls in a 1998 smooth medium bend Peterson Limerick 69 with a nickel band. Ice water chilled to the proper temperature with imported floaty li'l icebergs is my drink.
Edit: Rangers just scored in the bottom of the ninth. Game over.
Yes. Thuber must have taken the pictures off his Photobucket account. Can't expect much more than that from a certified egg fryer!!
I only have three in the Holmes series, but it's my favorite, too.
Escudo in a Stanwell OSS tulip. This is one of those epic bowls, when the stars align, and it is as good as it gets!
Evening PSF. Tonight I worked on improving my packing technique..............with somewhat poor results, I feel like I'm starting over. But then even a bad bowl of GH Aromatic Brown Flake is a pleasant enough experience.
