Nice to see the UPS dude brought your new pipe Walkin' - Enjoy! Can't wait to see some pics...

After dinner bowl is my first go with a new-for-me blend. HU Foundation of musico "INDABA". Just had the first few puffs and it tastes exactly like it says on the website:

Indaba is a blend which stands for its own. Medium-strong ready rubbed, as well as dark-fired Virginias, enhanced by some Kentucky for an earthy foundation, contribute to a distinctive taste experience. Sweet and spicy, along with a creamy texture makes this blend a unique treat apart from the everyday !

Reds lead the D-Backs 2-1 in the 8th, and the Twins are tied with the Tigers 6-6 in the 6th. I'm smoking Old Dark Fired in a smooth briar calabash shape 1984 Fero Danese made in Italy. A can of 7-Up is my drink.

    My apologies. Was back logged
    about 10 pages. I did smoke a
    couple bowls of Coniston Cut
Plug, so I think that counts!
    :th1:
    Just finished a bowl of
GG in a Genoa. Hard to
keep it lit as Stormy passed
over for the last half hour.

FireDance Flake in a Peterson Canadian is just fine after a good lunch of capers and cheese wrapped in smoked salmon wrapped in seaweed. 24C(75F)H21%

She may not be much to look at but this is my first ever bid on ebay, and my first WIN. Nabbed moments ago. Champagne! Champagne for everyone!

But really, celebrating with a bowl of Peterson's Sunset Breeze in a MM Dip. Double sided coin however, I'm commiserating my contraction of PAD. Help.

I love Ethiopian coffee--is Chelbessa the estate? I've really got to get my coffee roaster working, I miss it. I had some killer Yirgacheffe Peaberry (forget the estate) that was some of the best coffee I ever roasted. Ever tried Monsooned Malabar? Another one of my favorites, but for some an acquired taste.

Here at the pub, not smoking. Did have a bowl of CH in the Diplomat on the way over. This morning it was Sunset Breeze in the Pipe by Lee and OJK in the Falcon. Lots of Toque during the day.

I believe so the region is Chelba, the coffee was a gift my neighbor brought back from Oregon from one of their Organic Coffee Roasters. It's nice and I'd buy it if it were offered around here. Never have tried the Monsooned Malabar but might look it up. :ngty:

Costa Rican La Manita Peaberry is a fine coffee on my short list of favorites.

I used to get a Monsooned from a shop in Arlington, tex. Since I moved away from there I never have found the same roast again. Found some a couple of years ago online at Gourmet Coffee.com, even some reg India Mysore. Monsooned wasn't too bad. Didn't care for the mysore. Then could't tolorate coffe much after open heart, so lost out. :(

4th and probably last bowl for today: DTM's Bill Bailey's Balkan Blend (I read Latakia is the predominant tobacco in it, plus more than just a dash of perique), in an unmarked 1980ies' size 4 brown bent. Paid next to nothing for it during the Dortmund Tobacco Fair that year when the vendors/exhibitors were trying to free themselves from surplus. For whatever reason none of the tobacco samples have lasted over the years ...
