    Forgot what flavours you
    were detecting. I mostly
    get Geranium

    Shifting gears with some
    St. Bruno RR in the
    dedicated billiard bowl.

For some reason, I love this pipe! Makes me think it's wearing one of those fur coats from back in the '20s! Wanna just load it up and go chase some Flappers!
Slept in REAL late after being up and down most of the night, having some McCranie's McArrus in a Bullitt Proof with Max on the side. Good morning all!

Last 2 coins of Escudo in my Pete SS. Something wonderful about cracking the figy goodness of a new tin!

I got bovril with the merest hint of something floral underneath, it'll probably turn out I've had too many kebabs or something. It's supposed to taste of maple according to the Gauntley's website, not that I could pick it up.

Good morning all, Happy Friday. Been halfway doing the old Karlof walk FnB talks about, all morning. Wonder if I could take my joints into Jiffy Lube. Smoked a Falcon full of Penzance according to the Frank Method Snake advised. Made it to 40 min so it worked. Prolly better time if it was not zance and its fine tobacco cut. @ Snake, thanks. I had never paid much attention to that and had seen some laughs at its use. It does work very well, tho. Lots of hot Pg tips tea to sip on today. Happy puffing!

Basil, we did that in the 70's but then they were called Hippy Chicks. Same thing as Flappers but different flavor. :old: :puffy: :hip1::hp2:

LEO in a Peterson Canadian is nice and calming while I play telephone tag with someone I don't really want to talk with anyway. Last of this morning's coffee has that nice bitter edge. 19C(66F)H43%

Started the day with McC Red Cake in the Stout Squatch Volcano. Now it's Peretti Oriental #40 (thanks, YappyG!) in the Falcon so I can start work.

Happy 1st PSF anniversary to Mecompco and Happy Birthday to Mrs. Duck!

been smoking some Dunhill Nightcap in my Savinelli Punto oro 305, and I must say this tobacco is fabulous! I used to smoke the murray's version years ago and I can't detect any notable difference between the orlik version. I'm not sure if Murray's was still using Syrian Latakia in their blends, but the Cyprian leaf in the new tins is just as good in my opinion. The only complaint I have, and this may sound silly, but I wish orlik would paint the tin labels again!, I was always a big fan of the tin artwork :th1:

Come to think about it, I remember seeing Broadway Joe wearing one of those coats. Ah the good old days... PBR, CCR, and nothing that penicillin couldn't cure!

Just loaded some SWRA in the MM Hardwood. I just really love the way this stuff smells. It reminds me of S'mores.

On a different note, I really enjoy the pics some of you post of what you're smoking.

Took the Triumph for a mid morning ride. Stopped about 25 minutes from my house to snap a couple of pics. Workers leaving for lunch probably thought I was nuts. You definately can smell the Tobacco out in the parking lot:

Slept in so m'lady took care of Suzy and Molly, who were happy to see me when I got up. I'm starting off my smoking day with Dunbar in a smooth 1987 Peterson first series Sherlock Holmes full bend with a sliver band. I haven't smoked this pipe is some time, and I really don't know why. But, I think I'll start smoking it more often. A can of Mountain Dew is my drink.

Just finished up the SWRA, and it smoked like a dream all the way to the end. Every last bit was charred to ash. It was one of the best bowls I've smoked since I started. It's pretty exciting when you see improvement in your pipe smoking acumen. Now it's time to get ready to head into the salt mines. I'm still pondering what I'll be taking for my lunch time smoke.

I think he was always cross-dressing. Seems like he had a thing about tights or pantyhose.
